NEWLAND. Miss Bell Tow spent Sunday with Miss Mary Rees. A Williams-and Geo. Martin were Rensselaer callers Tuesday, Mrs. John Fessler and children and Reva Rees spent Sunday with Mrs. W. M. Clark. T. M. Callahan and Dave Blitstein and Art Tuttle were Rensselaer callers .Tuesday. The girls, ot Newland, eleven of them, enjoyed a fine ride Sunday in Mr. Tuttle’s big car. * Quite a few from around here attended the ice cream socjfpd at Independence Saturday evening. Ruth Callahan went to> 'Rensselaer Monday to spend the week. She will take her first communion* Sunday. These June showers make the crops grow fine.
