Chicago Chill Sauce.

One peck ripe tomatoes, peeled arid chopped fine, and drained as dry as possibly; two cups chopped onions, two cups chopped celery, two cups sugar, half cup salt, four ounces white mustard seed, one teaspoon ground mace, one teaspoon black pepper, one teaspoon ground cinnamon, four green peppers chopped fine, three pints vinegar. Mix well and put in jars, seal and turn upside down over night.
