Frank and Floyd Cox were both in town over Sunday. F. R. Erwin and John Zellars mgde a business trip to Danville Monday. Chas. Manderville and John Staple Sundayed in Fair Oaks last Sunday. Sam Crofford went to Monon Saturday to consult- Dr. Reagon. Mrs. Ross Born went this week to visit her father, who is. sick. Mrs. George Lambert is visiting her parents near Enos this week. Mrs. N. A. McKay visited a day this week with Mrs. Ed Lakins, east of town. ... ■ Will Cottingham and wife, of Dunnville, are here visiting friends and relatives. Mrs. Mattie Ballinger went to spend a couple of weeks with relatives at Foresman. Ed Foley has cleared up a patch of ground east of the depot and will put in a large patch of garden truck. Joe Marshall and wife,' of Brazil, are visiting Chas. Barker and family and Jacob Trump’s his week. N. A. McKay has a job in the bridge gang on the Monon now and is working on the south end of the road. The show Friday night was quite well attended and proved to be very good for the kind, it being mainly an animal show. Frank McColly has recovered from his recent attack of throat trouble and is finishing up Walter McConnell’s house. Rev. McClure, of the M. E. church, will preach a memorial sermon next Saturday Eight. Everybody, and especially the old soldiers, are invited to attend. Rev. Dunkleburger failed to fill his usual appointment here Saturday night, and was missed greatly by the church goers. Those interested ini the Memorial Day services are requested to bring flowers and meet at the M. E. church at 1 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at 1 o’clock sharp.
