Mr. and Mrs. Alf Jacks went to Rensselaer Sunday afternoon. The young folks met at Alvin Clark’s Sunday afternoon to practice music. Ethel Jordan spent Sunday with Martha Clark. . S. M. Jacks treated his son Oscar to a new chair swing Monday. Mrs. A. R. Clark and Mrs. Thomas Smith went to Rensselaer Tuesday. E. A. Fisher and family went to Lowell Tuesday. F. L. Overton went to Monon Tuesday night. Earl Foulks spent Sunday with Harley and Tommy Clark. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Jacks and children spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Spencer and family. Miss Tillie Kopka visited from Saturday until Monday with O. C. Hughes and family. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stiers were called to St. Joe. Mich., by the serious illness of their son Paul. Will Stiers and wife and Ethel Lewis went to Menon shopping Tuesday. :' Several from here attended the funeral of Mrs. Wm. Lee at the Osborne cemetery Sunday afternoon. Several of the young people from here attended young people’s meeting at the Chapel Sunday evening. E. A. Fisher went to Michigan the latter part of last week looking for a business location.
