Mrs. Walter Quxnm to bootees to ths Sew and Sew club Friday, June 2nd.
Mrs. Kelly and son Ralph art making a two weeks* visit in Frankfort. Mr. Frank Hart, of Wolcott, is the owner of a fine new auto. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Hart were Sunday callers at the Gumm home, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Stitts were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Howard.
Mr. Esau Hart was the guest of his son George at Earl Park several days last week. Mr. Tabor was in town the first of the week leaving for his home in Wabash Tuesday morning. The M. E. Missionary meeting for last Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Brand has been postponed. Mrs. Sam Thompson, of Monticello, has been visiting her mother, Mrs. Rawlings.
Mr. and Mrs. Ira Grant and Miss Haner autoed to the George Ade farm last Sunday.
The North Side Sew and Sew club were received by Miss Pearl Morris last Wednesday. Rev. Crowder was 'delegate to Indianapolis from the I. O. O. F. lodge last week.
Mrs. Wm. Beal was visited by the Misses Juba Scripture and Daggy, of Wolcott, last Saturday.
The Sew and Sew club met with Mrs. Chas. Bonner Friday, May 19. The annual picnic is in the near future.
Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Washburn had as last Thursday guests, Mrs. Perry Washburn, Mrs. Sherman Gary and Miss Washburn, of Earl Park. B. F. Spencer went to Indianapolis Tuesday, May 23, combining a business trip with a visit at the home of his sister, Mrs. Hal Sheets. The ladies of the Methodist church served a very successful tea last Thursday at the manse, Mrs. Crowder hostess. The Presbyterian Industrial Societymet with Mrs. Bull at the manse and planned a tea to be held in the Austin store room the evening of June Ist.
Miss Bessie Haner left for her home in Sturgis, Mich., to spend the summer vacation. She has promised to return next year.
