SHOE FOR TROTTING HORSE
Mjuch Depends on Conformation of Animal’s Leg and Breeding of the Animal. To induce a horse to trot or to change the gait from pacing to trotting the services of an expert driver are required. It is largely a matter of training, though much depends on the breeding of the animal and the conformation of the leg. Shoeing with a four calked shoe is helpful in some
cases iu forming the trotting habit. The front shoes must be heavier than the hind and may be from 10 to 15 ounces, according to the size of the horse. 1 1
