Holcomb Case Against Olivers Will Go to Jury Today.
A suit- brought In the Federal Court by Leslie Holcomb against the Oliver Hotel of South Bend, in which the plaintiff alleges that he suffered permanent Injuries while taking a Turkish bath at the hotel, will go to the jury today. Attorneys began their final arguments Wednesday afternoon. Mr. Holcomb is suing for $50,000 damages. He alleges that a pipe burst, causing him to be scalded. The defense is maintaining that Holcomb broke one of the pipes. It is also alleged by the defense that he was intoxicated at the time. Attorney Roy Blue, of this city, was cne of the attorneys fcor Holcomb.
