Another Proposed Improvement Of The Kankakee River and Lands.

The latest proposed plan for the improvement of the Kankakee river and for drainage and reclamation of the large acreage of swamp and wet lands in the Kankakee Valley Is the introduction of a resolution in congress calling the attention of the national law-making body to the fact that the Kankakee river shall be made a part of the proposed canal to connect Lake Michigan and Lake Erie.
