Mrs. Kerns called on Mrs. Lona Cavinder Monday. John Cavinder and son Calvin were Parr visitors Thursday. Fred Cavinder and Elmer Kerns were Parr visitors over Sunday. Owen Parker left Tuesday for the north end of Gifford’s railroad to board the dredge men. Gifford Marr and family spent Sunday at Kankakee, 111. Loyd Cavinder spent Monday night with his uncle at Lowell. Mrs. Stockwell and family took dinner with Tom Parker and family Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Kerns were Rensselaer visitors Friday. Miss Josie Wallace was the gueßt of Mrs. Robinson Sunday. Miss Daißy and Margaret Petet were the guests of Hazel and .Vice Myers Sunday. Miss Ethel Cavinder was the guest of Mrs. Robinson Tuesday afternoon. Miss Viola and Myrtle Kerns took dinner with Lerie Braddock Sunday. John and Nancy Cavinder’s children, grandchildren and great grandchildren gave a surprise dinner on them Sunday. Those present were Mrs. Chas. Snick and son Lawrence, of near Lowell; Mr. and Mrs. Mike Harrington and family, of Lowell; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Snick and family,, of Wheatfleld; Mr. and Mrs. Jake Myres and family, of Kniman; Lona Myres and family, of Kniman; Lona Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hurley, of Gifford. The day ;was spent ip games, musie and a social chat All left at a late hour wishing them many more happy Easters.
