The husband of a fashionable woman,'whose gowns are at once the admiration and despair of her feminine acquaintances, was discussing the oost of living with a friend at the Union League the other night “By the way," ventured the friend, “ —er —don’t you have a good dea*l of trouble keeping your wife dressed in the height of style?"
