Militia Company to Undergo Annual Inspection Monday Night.
Once each year the, militia of the various states is inspected by officers of the U. S. army, and the Indiana militia is to be inspected duHng the month iof April. Company M, of Rensselaer, Is one of the first to be Inspected. By the original assignment of officers for this inspection it would have been visited by Captain John B. Schoeffel, of ( the 10th infantry, who inspected the company last year, but that officer accompanied his regiment to Texas when the order for troops was made and a new detail was necessary. The company will now be inspected by First Lieutenant H. 8. Brinkerftoff, of the 27th infantry, which is stationed at Fort Sheridan. He will arrive here next Monday and after inspecting the property the books in the afternoon, he will conduct the muster in the evening. Every man is expected to attend this inspection and all have been notified that it wiil be held.
