In the recent deer hunting in Michigan at least three Upper Peninsula men were successful in SOlng their licenses as the result of » single shot. Sheriff Turnbull of Luee county was one of these. Two dew were standing together. The sheriff fired at one. the ball passing through Its body and killing the other also. Paul Laabs. Sagola, Dickinson county, found two bucks engaged i» a battle. A shot from Laab's rill* killed the spikehorn and the other warn so weak from the loss of blood It expired as soon as released. Professor Hill, superintendent off schools at Crystal Falls, Is the third: man who bagged two deer*" with on* shot. One of his trophies was a deer, however.
