A 1 Helsel’s new house is near completion. J. C. McColly and sons, Fred and Frank, are doing carpenter work at Wheatfleld. Charles Reed returned Saturday from a few days’ visit with his uncle, Tom Porter, near Remington. Henry Hockbaum, of Chicago, was here last week having his house repainted and looking after the interests of his farm. Miss Floudia Nicholson, formerly of this place, but now living on the Springer ranch, gave our school p pleasant call Friday. Miss Zelia Weisman went to Fair Oaks Saturday to remain a few days with her aunt, Mrs. Tom Marlatt, who has been very ill for several days. Miss Gladys Harrington, who is attending high school at Wheatfleld, spent Saturday and Sunday here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Harrington. Mrs. Wm. Nelson and four children, who have been living near Remington with her brother, Paul Weiss, came Friday for an extended visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Weiss, after which she will join her husband in Montana.
