Death Comes to Mrs. D. R. Jones After Long Sickness.

Mrs. Dexter R. Jones died Sunday morning at 9:30, at her home In Remington. after an illness which lasted several weeks. She was the only sister Of Albert J. Bellows/ of Rensselaer. Mr. and Mrs. Bellows went to Remington Monday morning on the early train and will probably not return until the end of this week. Mrs. Jones was of New England birth. She was a woman of excellent character, high intellectuality, a devoted wife and and a lifelong Christian, being a member of the Presbyterian church. She leaves four children: Howard* who resides on the home farm west of Remington; Mrs. Wilbur Kay, of Washington, Pa.; Mrs. Wade Greene, of New York City, and Miss Alice, of Remington, who so faithfully and tenderly cared for her mother during her illness. The sympathy of all goes out to the bereaved family. Mr. Jonea was at one time commissioner of Jasper county and has himself been in very poor health the past year. The funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock ajt the residence, and were attended tby Mr, and Mrs. G. A. Wllliqjrfs, Miss Antoinette Price, Mrs. A. Parkinson and J. D.
