IROQUOIS DITCH REPORT FILED WITH THE COURT.
Engineer Gamble and Viewers Clark And Beagley Complete Report on The Lower Iroqnols. Engineer Hugh Gamble and Viewers S. D. Clark, of Wheatfleld, and Thorp Beagley, of Brook, have completed their report on the lower Iroquois drainage scheme and the same was filed with the court last Friday. For the purpose of getting service onnew parties not heretofore made parties to the proceeding, the petition was continued without action until the next term of the court. Parties originally named in the petition have ten days in which to remonstrate and new parties have ten days from the time they are given notice. Land owners in Jasper, White, Newton and Benton counties are assessed for the construction. 1 The report was made in the office of Attorney George A. Williams, and next to JJie Marble ditch report, is the largest ever filed in the county. It is an exhaustive report and the engineer and viewers show a fine effort in equation. The report is already being consulted by a number who are interested and many more will doubtless get busy with it as soon as they learn that it is on file.
