Havana’s Freak Player..
The Havana team boasts of a third baseman who is somewhat of a freak in several ways. In the first place the third sacker is a left-handed thrower, something rare among infielders. He is of Spanish and Chinese parentage, yet boasts of the good old Irish/ name of Moran. It would make some sureenough son of Erin threaten to da things if he could see the gentleman who boasts of so celebrated an Irislt name. This fellow Moran, by the way, is quite a ball player. He plays the third sack brilliantly, is an adept hunter as well as a hard hitter, and, like all the othei- natives, is fast onl his feet.
