Former Football Captain and Track Star Leaves Chicago School to Loam Spanish Abroad. CJapL fBill” Crawley of last fall’s Maroon /football team and star performer in Midway track meets, announced! the other day that he would not wear the Maroon colors during the coming season. He has quit his studies and will go abroad until next fall, when he will return to the Midway. He has planned to travel in Spain and other European countries for a commercial house as a means of learning Spanish. Crawley intends to finish his col-
lege course at the university next year. His loss leaves the Marooh track team with a dearth of point winners in the high jump, shot put and hurdles. He will be eligible for the team next winter and spring.
