Mr. Halgren, of Oxford, has been visitipg his son for a few days. Mrs. C. E. Anderson called on G. M. Beebe Tuesday evening. C. E. Anderson was a Medaryville caller Saturday. * . T. M. Callahan was in Rensselaer Monday. - r T Mr. Smith, of Kansas, is visiting his son and daughter. Look out for a° wedding soon at Newland. , John Watson, oT near Medaryville, called on W T m. Rees Friday. Miss Mary Anderson spent Sunday afternoon with Miss Chloa Martin. Howard Abbitt, ot Indiana Harbor, has been visiting relatives - here for the past two weeks. Mrs. John Aller, of Francesville, haa been visiting Mrs. T. M. Callahan and family. Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Hankins called on Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Rees Monday evening. Mrs. Wm. Gruber and baby, Mary Rees and Letha Blacker called On Mrs. Del Bowman Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Del Bowman ate supper with Mr. and Mrs. Charley Blacker Monday evening. ' Miss Mattie Anderson spent Sunday with home folks, returning Monday to her work. Howard Abbott and Mack Steel spent Sunday evening with Miss Ruth and' Anna Anderson. Mr., Smith spent Sunday with his family, returning Monday to his work near Pleasant Ridge. Quite a few from this vicinity were in Rensselaer Saturday. Miss Julia Oliver came Wednesday to make her home with her father, Ed Oliver. She has been living with relatives in Ft. Worth, Ark. Miss Neva Hughes, of Greenview, 111., has returned to her home after a visit of a week with her nncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Anderson. Miss Alice Bingham, teacher at Cozy Palace, spent frpm Friday evening until Monday morning with Mrs. T. M. Callahan and family. lyir. and Mrs. Charley Blacker and daughters Letha and Lottie took dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Rees and family Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Oliver went to Delphi Saturday night and from there to Logansport, returning home the first of the week. Mrs. G. M. Beebe returned to her home Monday and is getting along nicely after taking her week’s treatment in Chicago. We hope she will get still better. Ross Halgren spent Saturday night in Rensselaer. His father came to Reksselaer Sunday and they came to Newland Sunday afternoon. Mr. Halgren is Intending to buy land.
