PROCTOR BILL AWAITS THE GOVERNOR’S SIGNATURE.
Continued from Page One which he desires to sell liquor at least twenty-five days in advance of the meeting of the board of commissioners from which he desires to veeeive the permit; if no paper is published, notice must be given- at least twenty days in advance of the meeting of the commissioners by posting notices in prominent places. No license shall be granted to any person unlefes he is a citizen of the United States, but if an applicant has resided in the state for ten years and has declared his, inteniton of becoming a citizen he may receive a license.
Any voter in the or township in which an applicant desires to sell intoxicating liquor may remonstrate against granting a license on grounds of immorality or other unfitness of the applicant.
