Because his father followed his mother to a neighbor’s house at Linton, Ind., and said he was going to kill her, George Calvert, 18,. shot his father, Ed Calvert, in the face with a shotgun. The father’s eye was blown out. Neighbors say the elder Calvert was under the influence of liquor.
