THE foundation of the gown at the left is green satin, covered with white mousseline de sole, which Is finished at the bottom with a deep .hem of the satin. The long loose empire tunic is of black tulle, beaded with jet and bordered with bands of black satin; the corslet Is of jet ambroidery. The corsage ls of fine white lace, trimmed with bands or embroidery, set In with fagoting. The sleeves are
finished at the elbows with cuffs of the Jet embroidery. The foundation of, the gown at the right is soft, violet satin, finished by iv deep flounce of satin of a lighter shade. It is trimmed wltjh, flower motifs of applique embroidery and veiled with violet mousseline de sole. A little ball fringe finishes the skirt, the round neck and the sleeves-; the girdle, with rosette, is of the lighter satin like the flounce.
