Ray Overton, of Rensselaer, is visiting his brother Robert and wife. Fred and Walter Feldhaus spent Sunday in Rensselaer. Fred Powell, of Monon, is visiting realtives in this vicinity. Mrs. Randolph Wright returned home from Chicago Sunday. Miss Virginia Holmes spent from Sunday until Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Overton. Mrs. Silas Potts, of near Brook, is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Arthur , Powell. Mrs. Joseph Francis and son Jos took dinner with Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Holmes and family Tuesday. Several from this vicinity attended the box social at the Catholic -hall Thursday night The farewell party given at Nelson Hough’s Saturday was well attended. A surprise was also given Mrs. Powell and daughter Allie Saturday night— — A complete surprise was given Mr, and Mrs. S. B. Holmes and family Sunday, when about the noon boar neighbors to the number of sixty-two came in with wqU filled baskets, Afte 1 dinner was served, the time was spent in listening to musie Tendered by (he Carr brothers and Calvin Shigley. v
