They kept close to the shore and, owing to the lack of wind and to the slowness of their boat, they were still drifting by familiar country a week or so after they left Gotham. At one point of land they passed, a solemn Individual sat fishing. For some hoorß the boat made virtually no progress, and after a while the fisherman roused himself sufficiently to ask: “Where a ye folks from?"
