Death of Mrs. John Woods.
Mrs. John Woods died at her home in Goodland Friday and was brought here Sunday afternoon, the funeral being held in the Christian church, conducted by Rev. J. Frank Smith, of Goodland. The Rebakah Order, No. 384, conducted their ritualistic funeral service at the conclusion of the sermon. Interment was made in the Remington cemetery.
Mrs. Fern Lough went to Linden Wednesday for a short visit. The Sew and Sew club meetd' with Mrs. Hargreaves this Friday. Mrs. Wm. Roadifer visited in Logansport Tuesday morning between trains. A daughter. was born to Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bellows Wednesday morning, February Bth. The high school pupils enjoyed a box social in Austin Hall Friday evening. Mr. Kenyon was auctioneer. The proceeds are to aid the basketball team. Walter Rich accompanied his father, Wm. Rich, to a private sanitarium at Hinsdale, 111., Friday. Father Rich has been in poor health for several months.
Miss Grace Thompson returned Tuesday noon from'Valparaiso, where she has been visiting relatives since September Ist. She will be |n Remington about two weeks, visiting with Relatives and friends. After making two unsuccessful attempts to commit suicide, Matilda Graylick, 16 years old, has disappeared from her home in South Bend. Her parents have asked the police to assist in the search for the girl. Miss Graylick tried twice to take her life for some reason which she refused to explain.
