Senator Grube introduced a bill in the Senate Tuesday providing that teachers who have held a state high school license for six years and have taught the subjects covered by the license shall be grafted an exemption from further examination in those subjects. The exemption, it is provided, shall obtain as long as the teacher engages in the profession. The same law now obtains with reference to teachers holding a threeyear common school license. Senator Grube’s bill further provides that a teacher may not teach any subjects not covered by his license. Under the present law a sixty months’ high school license gives the holder the right to teach any subject in a noncommissioned high school.
