COLLEGEVILLE.
The second term of the present school year was auspiciously opened February Ist. „ Last Saturday, the day after the exams, was a free day, to give the students an opportunity to restore their uired spirits There has bee:* a change in the prefectship for the southside study hall. The place formerly held by Father Simon is now filled by Father Gerard. A*number of new students have been enrolled for. the second term, but as <hey take the places of those who left at the close of the first session, there is no change in the total number. Last Sunday, Monday and Tuesday were the days of the annual retreat for the students. The religious exercises Were Conducted by Rev. Chrysostom Theobald, O. F. M., of Cincinpati. His discourses to the students were effective and listenetTPtr with rapt attention.
