The stamp vending machines Installed In many Btores and shops about the •city are not favored by a woman who flurried into a drug store in Massachusetts avenue several days ago, where there Is a branch post office. "How do you sell your two-cent stamps?” she Inquired. Indignantly. "Two cents apiece.” replied Bassett. "Well, that's all sight.” she replied, while Bhe fished in her pprse for a coin. “This is the fifth place I have •visited after stamps. At all the other places they had those slot machines where you have to spend a nickel for two two-cent stamps. I made up my mind not to be held up If I had to walk all over the city.
