Former Jasper County Man Dies of Aploplexy in Florida.

Mrs. J. M. Wasson received word this morning that hsr brother, J. Hamilton Wood, of Lafayette, who had gone to Miami, Fla., for his health, had died there suddenly of aploplexy Friday. Mr. Wood was a resident of Jasper county for a number of years and some thirty-five years ago was engaged in the hardware business in Rensselaer. For a number of yearhe had resided in Lafayette. He was 71 years of age and served during the civil war with an Ohio regiment. Mr. Wood’s first wife died in Winamac and is buried there. One of their three children, Hallie, died when the family resided here. Two other child ren survive, viz., Mrs. Chas. Caper, and Chase Wood, of California. He 1? also survived by a second wife. The body will be brought to Rensselaer for burial and is expdcted to arrive here Monday and the funeral and burial will be held in Rensselaer.
