City Council Meets and Allows Grist of Bills.

The city council held a short meeting Monday evening. All members were present except Councilman Catt. An ordinance was introduced for the purchase of a chemical tank extinguisher for use on the hose cart. Mayor Meyer was authorized to sign a contract with the American LaFrance Fire Engine Co., for the purchase of the same. The Treasurer’s report was read and referred to the finance committee.
