Aviator Hoxsey Clears Top Of High Mountain in California.

Arch Hoxsey, of Pasadena, Calif., who holds the world’s “highest up” record, having ridden a biplane 11,474 feet about the ground, Thursday flew oyer Mount Wilson, the highest peak of the mountain range that rims the valley near Los Angeles, Cal., and he cleared is so easily that he had 4,200 feet to spare. He went a distance of 34 miles before alighting.
