Miss Anna Healy called on Augusta Stibbe Saturday. August Makus called on C. E. Stibbe Friday. Paul Makus shredded corn last Friday and Saturday. Oscar Stibbe took a load of hogs to Parr Tuesday. Ernest Hass spent Monday afternoon with his cousin, Oscar Stibbe. The Christmas entertainment at Parr Friday night was well attended. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Stibbe are spending the holidays with friends in Chicago. . Mrs. Robert Sheetz and daughter, of Sterling, 111., are visiting relatives and friends in this vicinity. Otto Makus, who is working near Sedley and Valparaiso, is spending the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. August Makus. Quite a nice crowd gathered at the home of Mrs. Carrie Healy and a very pleasant evening was spent. Music, dancing and singing kept the young people busy until a late hour. Miss Minnie Makus, who has been working for Mr. and Mrs. Homer Stanley for several weeks, came home Monday to visit her parents, and also to see her brother Otto. She returned to work Tuesday.
