Mr. Snyder, from Reynolds, was in town Tuesday. Mr. Botts and family visited in Monon Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Scott and family spent Christmas in Kokomo. Orvil Holman and Myrtle Lewis went to Monticello Sunday. Mrs. Anna Johnson and Mrs. Minerva Wood were in town Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Alt Jacks visited their children at Lafayette Christmas. Mrs. Kate Holman went to Illinois to visit Mr. and Mrs. Dorm Cade. Rev. Kuonen was making calls Tuesday in the Osborne neighborhood. Several from here attended the entertainment at McCoysburg Christmas eve. Uncle Jimmy Overton is staying with L. E. Noland and family at present. Mrs. Ella Noland and son Lonnie went to Rensselaer shopping last week. Ward Lewis went to Remington Saturday to spend the holidays at' home. Rev. Kuonen is still holding meetings this week, with good interest and good crowds. Dollie Jacks and Chloa Overton went to Monticello Tuesday to visit Flossie Holman. Chas. Jacks, of Logansport, is visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Jacks this week. It is understood that Reed McCoy is hunting for another hired girl. That sounds suspicious. S. M. Jacks and family and O. A. Jacks and family visited Mr. and Mrs. A B. Lewis Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Lefler and little daughter Francis visited S. M. Jacks and family Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. McCashen and baby and Miss Ada Wyers visited Alvin Clark and family Sunday. Henry Byroads and a brother of Mr. Westphall and Mrs. Westphall’s sisters visited them Christmas. Mr. and Mrs. Will Culp and family and Mr. and Mrs. Jbn Culp and family visited Uncle David Culp’s Sunday Rev. J. W. Clarke, of Frankfort, an evangelist, and an assistant singer, will hold meetings at the Milroy Baptist church beginning Sunday morning at 10:30 o’clock. There will also be services at night.
