Ross Halgren went to Oxford Friday evening to spend Christmas with home folks. ‘ Quite a crowd around here were Christmas shopping in Rensselaer last Saturday. Mrs. G. M. Beebe is getting worse again, now. It seems as though she can’t get well. Mr. and Mrs. James Rees and family ate Christmas dinner with Mrs Wm. Rees and family. Mr. and Mrs. Jess Nuss and family spent Christmas with the former’s parents, near Independence. Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Callahan and children spent Christmas day with Charley Anderson and family, near here. J. C. Tow was called to Kokomo Thursday to the bedside of a sick sister, who is not expected to live Aery long. Mrs. George Martin and three children spent Christmas holidays with her daughter, Mrs. George Haniford, of Gobdland. The wedding we spoke of last week took place at St. Joeseph, Mich. The couple were Miss Lola Oliver and Mr. Floyd Tow, of near Newland. • It was quite a surprise to their friends and relative?.
