Mrs. Caroline Goetz is able to be up again. Elbert Potts spent Christmas with home folks. Verlie Spencer spent Sunday with relatives at Wolcott. Eli Brown has returned from a two weeks’ visit at Zionsville. A fine time was had at Unde Shelby Grant’s last Wednesday night. Miss Catherine Feldhaus and brother Alvin are at home for the holidays. Stanley B. and Willie Holmes are visiting friends in Marshall county. The farmers are taking advantage of the fine roads to market their com. Joe Trulley and sister Theresa visited their parents, north of town, Sunday. Miss Virginia Holmes went to Reynolds Sunday evening for a few days’ visit. Mrs. Fred Powell, of Monon, is visiting relatives and friends in this vicinity. Miss Nora Vest, of Aix, is visiting her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Francis. Earl and Calvin Shigley have gone to Momencq, 111., for a ten days’ visit with relatives. Dr. Hill, of Lowell, visited a couple of days with his sister-in-law, Mrs. A C. Pancoast and family. Allie Francis and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Zigler ate Christmas dinner with Mrs. Frank Grant. Mrs. Ad Sharkey, of Reynolds, visited Sunday with her sister, Mrs. Claude Spencer and family. Miss Bertha Greenlee, of Marshall county, visited a couple of days with Misses Sarah and Virginia Holmes. Mrs. Ann Beason, of California, and Mr. and Mrs. George Werner ate Christmas turkey with their cousin, Mrs. Sidney Holmes and family.
