Depot is Sure Thing Says Chief Counsel Kurrie.

H. R. Kurrie, chief counsel of the Monon railroad, was in Rensselaer Monday and stated the “the lid was off” in the matter of information about thenew depot, meaning that there is no sSetet about it. The depot will be built as announced by The Republican a few days ago. The plans have been made and accepted and with the first bright days of spring the actual building operations will begin. The structure will be a fine one architecturally, as well as convenient. The lower part will be of Bedford stone, which will extend to the lower part of the windows, and the upper part will be of pressed red brick. Mr. Kurrie, of course, used his influence to secure the new station and to his friendly interest in Rensselaer can be attributed a number ot favors from the Monon. x
