PEN POINTS.

Some who think they are in the political swim will later be grasping at straws. The only “safe and sane” candidate these days is the one who is not ashamed of his past. No woman ever has anything to wear, but she always manages to get to the party just the same without freezing to death or being arrested. It may be true, as some do say, that love is blind; but, all the same, it is interesting to note how he sort of chirks up when another pretty girl comes on the scene. An Englishman carried off nearly all the honors of the recent aviation meet over at Boston, but there is nothing remarkable about this. The British always were the best fliers in the vicinity of Concord and Lex lngton.—Judge.
