Branson Clark shipped his turkeys this week. Nelson Anderson called on George Clark Monday. Lud Clark shredded corn Monday and Tuesday. Mrs. Chapman and family moved to
the Ensinger farm and Elmer Johnson moved to the Chapman farm. Jacks & Clark bought Xmas turkeys here this week. Ernest Clark has a new buggy. Now girls for a buggy ride. Supt. Lamson and G. L. Parks visited Banner school Tuesday. Miss Lural Anderson spent Wednesday night with Mrs. Bivans. Mr. and Mrs. Warren, of Illinois, held meetings here this week. Mrs. V. J. Boone has been having a gathering in her throat, but is better at this writing. W. I. Bivans visited the first of the week with his children in Danville and Rossville, 111. , - Mrs. Underwood, Zera Scripture and Earl Foulks, of Monon, and Frank May and family took dinner Sunday with George Foulks. Miss Pearl Abersol attended church at Lee Tuesday night and was accompanied home by Miss Ethel Lewis, who will sew again this week for Mrs. Abersol. As Mrs. Bivans was starting home from /Monon Monday evening her horse became frightened at a train and in turning around she was thrown 0«t of the buggy and received a cut on-the face and bruised her eye. The top-was torn off the buggy. Some one
caught the horse and she drove it home. Chas. Wood has been hauling corn to Lee this week. Rev. Morrow, of Morocco, came Tuesday night and brought Rev, Green, of Rensselaer, who preached a very uplifting and helpful sermon. Rev. Morrow p'reached Wednesday night.
