LIGHTNING DESTROYS NOVEL CATHEDRAL

LONDON— The bishop of Uganda has appealed to the English people for $50,000 for the re-erection of the Cathedral of Uganda, which was struck by lightning recently and destroyed. This remarkable building, now a heap of ruins, could seat between 4,000 and 5,000 persons amd was a center of great spiritual activity, being surrounded by schools, theological hall, hospital and dispensary.
