Date of Taking Effect of New Time Table Postponed.

The Monon’s new time table, arranged to provide for the extra trains, Nos. 37 and 38, which was to have gone into effect Sunday, , Dec. 11th, will not become effective untifr a week later, Dec. 18th. The cause for the postponement was given as inability to get the new schedules printed and circulated in time to provide for the alterations. The new superintendent, T. G. Walton, was a Rensselaer visitor this morning. He is a young man and talks like he meant business, and evidently the new officials of the Monon are going to adopt an aggressive policy in search for business.
