Obituary of Mrs. Martha E. Clingan.

Martha E. Clingan (Sharp) was born in Decatur county, Indiana, March 12, 1838, and died Nov. 26, 1910, aged 72 years, 8 months and 14 days. She was married to John Clingan at about the age of thirty. To this union came seven children, only two of whom survive. They are Mrs. C. A. Brown, of Clinton county, Indiana, and John Clingan, of Idaville, White county, Indiana. She became a member of the Christian church at West .Point, Clinton county, Indiana, and ever remained faithful to her confession of faith; faithful to this faith as well as her duties as a wife, mother and neighbor. In recent years she had been in rather delicate health, having sustained a stroke of paralysis. A week before her death she was attacked with pneumonia, accompanied by another stroke of paralysis, which caused her death. She leaves a husband, two children, a brother and sister, who will remember her kindness and love.
