Verdie Lewis is still improving at present. Mrs. Sam Noland called on Mrs. David Culp Tuesday. , Chatman brothers received a car load of tile this week. Myrtle Lewis spent Sunday with Orval Holman and ihother. Mrs. S. M. Jacks is improving very slowly from her recent illness. George Holman and family spent Thanksgiving with O. A. Jacks and family. Lizzie Redd, who is seriously sick, is no better and recovery is somewhat doubtful. z Mr. and Mrs. S. U. Young and niece, Mabie, of Monon, spent Sunday with W. L. Stiers and family. Cora Noland toon suddenly ill last Sunday while playing with William Zable’s children, but is better how. Addie Myers worked for her brother, Lewis Myers, whose wife is on the sick list, last week. Uncle James Overton went to Rensselaer Wednesday morning. He expected to go from there to Chicago to spend Thanksgiving with his son, and also to attend the Fat Stock show. The first quarterly conference will be held at Saturday night. Supt. Briggs will preach after the conference and also Sunday morning at 11 a. m. Everybody is cordially invited to attend.
