D. S. MakeeVer has bought some more cattle. Cecil Rishling and wife are working for O. C. Halstead. Mr. Lawler was out to his ranch in this vicinity last Sunday. Jack Hoyes and family visited Sunday with Isa Parker and family. Miss Virginia Holmes spent Saturday night and Sunday with home folks. Mr. Putts has completed a corn crib for the Spencer boys at the dairy farm. Everett Grimes’ father-in-law isvis-( iting him, and also looking after some business. Dick Potts and family visited Sunday with his sister, Mrs. Geo. Heuson, and family. < , Frank Overton, of White county, spent Monday night with his brother, Robert, and family. Miss Grace Reed has gone to Fort Wayne for a visit of two weeks with her sister, Mrs. Rprntrager. Dennis Casto and family are living in the Robert Yeoman tenement house. Dennis is doing some ditching on the farm. ‘ Some fellows are always looking for a job and when you hire one, maybe they will work a day -or a week, and then go back to their old job of loafing in the pool rooms. Such chaps want money, but no work.
