Dropsy Causes Death of Mrs. Joe Ellis, After Long Sickness. Mrs. Joseph Ellis, who was formerly Mrs. Hester Grayson, died ihis Friday morning at about 2:30 o’clock after a sickness of some time of dropsy. Deceased leaves a husban 1 and three sons, Jesse, Roy and William Grayson, all of whom have been working in Hammond most of the time for the past two years. The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 9 o’clock and interment will be made in the Brown cemetery, near Pleasant Grove, Barkley township. Marriage License. Nov. 3.—Homer E. Turner, born Wheatfield, Ind., Feb. 18, 1891, present residence Wheatfield, occupation barber, father’s name William M. Turner, and Merle May Myers, born Wheatfield, Sept. 17, 1889, present residence Wheatfield,, occupation housekeeping, father's name John V. Meyers. First marriage for each. Turner being a minor the consent lor issue of license was given by his father in the form of a sworn note attested by John Greve, notary public. They were married by Squire S. C. Irwin.
