“Shorty” Adams Taken to Insane Asylum at Longcliffe Today.
Sheriff Shirer called up the superintendent at Loqgcllffe Tuesday afternoon and told hpw unruly Mb insane inmate; Leonard Adams, continued, and they stated that they would make rqgm for him now and that he would be admitted today, Wednesday. It was good news to the sheriff, who realized that If there was any chance for the recovery of “Shorty” he should be treated without delay, and the queer stunts he Was performing and the language he used made him a very undesirable inmate of the Jail. At 10:55 the sheriff, Marshal Mustard and Harry Wiltshire started for Longcllffe with the patient. He was handcuffed but went along without any trouble and seemed to be entirely rational.
