George Wenrick is hauling hay at Wheatfield. George Peters is visiting his parents for a while. " A. L. Frazier was a Remington visitor Monday. Alfred Peters is slightly improving at this writing. Conrad Shaffer is building a house for his mother this week. Miss Opal Waymire is visiting near Remington for a few days. Harry Shumaker is visiting friends in Grant county for a few weeks. Misses Mary Bice and Hazel Blake spent Thursday afternoon in Rensselaer. Mrs. David Shumaker and daughters Hazel, Crystal and Helen were in Remington Monday. Mr. and Mrs. David Shumaker had as their guests Sunday evening Lewis Lane and Mrs. Laura Husband. Mrs. Flora Shumaker and daughters Hazel, Helen and Crystal and Edith Wenrick spent Saturday afternoon at Rensselaer. Harry and Hazel Shumaker entertained Eugene Hasty, Bessie and Lyman Peters and Edith Wenerick Thursday evening. The preaching services at Lawndale Sunday afternoon were well attended. There will be preaching there Nov. 13. All are cordially Invited. Olen Farr and Emmet Hamilton, of Grant county, who were the guests of David Shumaker, returned to their homes very much pleased with Jasper county and say that the crops here are better than those in Grant county.
