AEROPLANE DESIGNED TO CARRY SIX PASSENGERS

LIEUT. J. W. Seddon Of the British navy has Just designed and built an enormous aeroplane which Is intended to carry six passengers. Preliminary tests are being made with it near Wolverhampton, England. This tandem biplane, as it is called, differs entirely from any other flying machine now In use. The contrivance weighs about a ton, steel tubes take the place of wires, the planes cover an area of 1,000 feet and it will be propelled by two eighty-hprse-power engines which are placed between the two sets of planes. 1
