W. F. Osborne Appointed City Engineer by Council.

At the regular meeting of the city council Monday evening, W. F. Osborne was appointed city engineer to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of H. L. Gamble. Mr. Osborne qualified by giving a bond in the sum of SSOO, signed by R. A. Mannan, John Noweis and L. P. Shirer. A petition of Michael Kanne for a sidewalf on South avenue was referred to the street committee. The city attorney was instructed to prepare a resolution for the sewer petitioned for by H. R. Kurrie, et al. The superintendent of the light plant was instructed to install a street light at the corner of Weston and Angelica streets. The following bills were allowed: CORPORATION FUND. Geo. F.
