Thrilling Rescue of Child.

There was a thrilling rescue recent ]y on the line at Cambers, Northumberland, England. A child wandered on the North Eastern railway and iwalked on to the permanent way. The engine driver tried to stop the train in vain. The fireman, Coombes, trashed along the footplate, climbed on in buffer of the engine, and swiftly E P ed np the child with his legs, and climbed back along the foot to safety. . -
