Chocolate Cream Cake.
Beat together for 20 minutes the yolks of four eggs and two cupfuls of sugar; k add one teaspoonful of vanilla and mix in carefully two cupfuls of flour; add one-half of a cupful of cold water and one-half of a cupful of flour, mixing with one heaping teaspoonful of the baking powder. Put in the whites of the eggs, which have been beaten to a stiff froth, in three layers.
