Selfish Youth.

I’ll never forget the story of the young man from Boston who stood in the center of Boston common in a downpour of torrential rain. “As he stood there, soaked to the skin, a little boy in a mackintosh accosted him. '“Excuse me, sir,’.said the boy, 'but are you the gentleman who is waiting for Miss Endicott?’ “ ‘Yes,’ the young man answered “ ‘Well,’ said the boy, ‘she asked me to tell you she’d be here just as soon as it clears up.’ ’’ %
